Local Processing
All controller input data (buttons, stick coordinates, vibration commands) is processed locally in real-time through the browser's native Gamepad API. This hardware data is never uploaded to our servers.
No Registration Required
Using ControllerTest.io requires no account creation — no email, phone number, or personal information needed. Just plug in your controller and start testing. Completely anonymous.
What Information Do We Collect?
Simply put: Almost nothing.
This website is a pure frontend application. We don't run any backend database to store user information. The only non-personally-identifiable data we might collect is through standard web server logs (like IP addresses, browser types), used solely for basic site operation and security.
About Cookies and Tracking
We don't use any advertising tracking cookies.
We only use browser LocalStorage to save your preferences (like dark mode settings or tutorial dismissals). Clearing your browser cache will reset these settings.
About WebHID Permissions
For some advanced features (like PS5 gyroscope testing), we may request WebHID connection permissions. This permission is only used to communicate with specific devices during the current session — we don't permanently save or misuse it. You can revoke authorization anytime from your browser's address bar.
